Charlotte Dali

PERFORMANCE and MUSIC

A singer, dancer, musician and percussionist from Côte d'Ivoire, Charlotte grew up in a family of percussionists. She began her career in 2002 with the Aninka company, then with Kenzo, before turning to zouglou, a popular urban music genre born in Côte d'Ivoire in the early 1990s that reflects the social realities of Ivorian youth and carries political messages.

From 2019 to 2020, she joined the TV Esprit zouglou programme hosted by Bilé Didier on À+ Ivoire, and in 2022 the Zouglou comédie programme.

In 2024, she founded Les sisters du zouglou, an Abidjan-based music band where she is vocal lead.
