Christelle Ehoué

Christelle is Gros camion (big truck), a name she assumes and loves that comes from her corpulence.

Born and raised in Abobo, Christelle starts dancing at the age of 8 in the streets and at small neighbourhood parties, then in Wozo, a summer variety show that is very popular in Côte d'Ivoire. She then embarked on a musical career, brutally interrupted by the death of her father. She went back to school until her final year, before devoting herself fully to dance, accompanying Ivorian singers or taking part in competitions such as Babi Dance Battle, Varietoscope and Abobo Show...

In June 2021, she was one of the four dancers invited by Nadia Beugré to the Théâtre de la Ville for the Festival d'Automne in Paris. Since then, she has participated in the Entr'Ailes training programme set up by the company in Abidjan.
