A multidisciplinary and self-taught artist from Montpellier, Lucas Nicot started as a teenager with singing and beatboxing, composing his own songs. In 2009, he obtained a bachelor's degree in audiovisual cinema. Two years later he joined the group Oz Corporation as a beatboxer while studying psychology and teaching.

As a composer, he regularly collaborates with performing art groups, including the Esplumeoir collective for A sorpresa de Chiclete for and the circus Liluna company, while developing his own work.

In 2016, he creates MECAVOLIC, a unique musical project: Triangle, a first EP  is released in 2018. Since then, MECAVOLIC has performed in different festivals in France: the Château Perché Festival, La Moba, Victoire 2, the Festiv'Althen… It wins the Homework prize of Kiwi Records and is a finalist of the Orizon Sud springboard in 2019.

In 2017, Lucas Nicot also joined the group Cosmyte with whom he toured abroad, between India, Russia, China and Switzerland. In 2019, Cosmyte signed with Hadra Records.

A performer and music composer in Nadia Beugré's L'homme rare (2020) and Entre Deux (2022), he also composed an original soundtrack for her latest work, Epique ! (pour Yikakou).
