Liliane Nakabo is a self-taught Ivorian musician, drummer, composer and studio sound engineer.

Fascinated by rhythms and sounds, she began learning percussion at church, then moved on to the piano and finally to the drums, her instrument of choice.  

In 2009, she joined the all-female band Ozouah Mam’s, led notably by pianist Laurent Noah and musician, singer and arranger David Tayorault; the band remained active until 2017. 

In 2018, she joined the orchestra of Lerie Sankofa, a former member of Ozouah Mam’s, with whom she took part in the 13th edition of MASA and the 9th Francophonie Games in Congo-Kinshasa, winning a bronze medal. As an arranger and co-composer, she has also developed collaborations with the Gabonese singer Nessa and the Ivorian singer Mpi.

Since 2019, she has been leading Les Femmes Son, an initiative to promote competitive representation and active solidarity among women in the Ivorian sound industry. 

In 2025, she undertook a one-month internship as a drummer and sound engineer at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse in Paris.

In the performing arts, she has collaborated with Georges Monboye on Les Nana Ébènes project, Massidi Adiatou (On descend à la rue Princesse), Andrienne Zokou and the Djolocro company (Souffle). Ziguehi marks her first collaboration with Nadia Beugré."
