In October, Libr’Art takes centre stage through a number of projects.
The month will begin with two performances of Épique! (pour Yikakou) by Nadia Beugré in Amsterdam as part of the Afrovibe Festival.
Prophétique returns to Paris in a performance version at the Palais Iena, at the invitation of Alice Diop as part of the Geste de Consolation programme, organised by Miu Miu.
Finally, from 23 to 25 October, Filles-Pétroles will have its premiere in Japan as part of the Autumn Meteorite Festival.
Produced by Libr’Arts, Kizazi by Stéphanie Mwamba (DRC) is currently touring Mozambique and Italy as part of the Bambu project, and will visit Côte d’Ivoire in December 2026, with the support of the Institut français in Paris and the Institut français in Abidjan. Kizazi won the ZKB Audience Grand Prize in Zurich in August.
Another Libr’Arts production, Puzzle(d)by Christian Romain Kossa, will tour the African continent from September to December 2026, with stops in Nigeria, Senegal, the DRC and Côte d’Ivoire, with the support of the Goethe-Institut’s MobiARTS programme.
Several research residencies will also take place in connection with Nadia Beugré’s forthcoming production, Ziguehi, in Abidjan and Marseille, with the support of the Ballet National de Marseille.
